VERY RARE BLUE DOMINO BED AND BREAKFAST SET TRAY - Blue Domino Backstamp with filled in spots. Approx 24.6 cm maximum diameter. Mid towards lighter of the blue colour range. Free of crazing. Light surface scratching. Firing bubble in one of the white dots (see to of picture b and far side of d). Surface scratching from use. Quite a few bumps in the glaze from manufacture. Two lines of white in the blue of the central section. One from a raised line of slip, and one from an indent in the slip. Outer edge has two small rough spots that appear to be from incomplete/rough glaze. Underside very clean. Foot ridge on the base has some under glaze clips from manufacture, and one very small flake chip, this appears to be associated with a small firing fissure. This is an extremely rare piece to find.
