Average surface scratching for a piece of it's age that has been used. On the top edge are some grey lines that appear to be in the glaze. Base very clean. Slip quality average with a few slip bumps and firing bubbles typical of the earlier pieces. At the base of the bottom blue band there is some marginal variation in the blue/discolouration. Where the handle joins the mug body there are rough pieces of slip and it hasn’t fully sealed – it has not been reattached.
