| JUDITH ONIONS CORNISHWARE RARE EGG CUP AND EGG PLATE SET ADDED 24/11/06 Dimensions approximately: Plate: 13.5 cm high ( 5 3/8 ) diameter Egg Cup 4.5 cm (1 5/16) high. Backstamp: Judith Onions Target Mark. condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. Very few surface scratches. A few dust specks within the glaze. Small overglaze skip on the base of the egg cup. rare set and one of the best you will find. The egg cup plate is smaller than the base of a butter dish from the same period. Unpacked weight is 196g. | JUDITH ONIONS CORNISHWARE LIPPED BOWL - SMALL Target Backstamp and impressed #17. Approx. height 3 7/8 (10 cm) with a top diameter of 5 (12.8 cm) including the pouring lip. NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR CRAZING. Very light surface scratching. Excellent clean banding. Good quality blue colouring. Two of the smallest slip bumps in the white bands that you will see, and one very small slip rub on the bottom edge of lip. Inside base there are very few utensil marks that are very clean. Top rim has a very light fine grey line within the slip. Base clean. This is the partner of the large bowl that we have available and they fit together perfectly. You will have to look a lot to find better examples than this group we sourced. 550g unpacked. REF NO: CWS2268. JUDITH ONIONS CORNISHWARE CADDY WITH CERAMIC LID Black Target Mark Backstamp and impressed #5. Approx. height 5 7/16 (13.7 cm) with a base diameter of 4 1/8 (10.5 cm). NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. Light long line crazing to the top and underside of the lid. Light surface scratching and good clean banding. A couple of slip bumps in the bottom blue band that are slightly lighter than the blue. Top edge has light tiny specks and is very slightly rough. There is also a small glaze skip of about 1mm on the edge. Lid still has original rubber seal. Its not perished but is coloured and doesnt seal tightly. Base is clean with dirt in the unglazed foot rim. Underside of lid has discolouration in the unglazed rim too. JUDITH ONIONS CORNISHWARE MILK JUG - WITH GREEN SHIELD BACKSTAMP!  Please note the white banding is very white on the jug, not the slight creamy tinge of the pictures. Green Shield Backstamp, but this is most definitely a Judith Onions design, so likely to be an earlier one. Approx height 5 7/8 (14.9 cm) with a base diameter of 4 (10.3 cm) and a top diameter of 5 7/8 (14.9 cm) including the spout. NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR CRAZING. Excellent lettering. Light surface scratching. Top lip very clean. Inner measures very clear. Banding super. Base has light dirt in the unglazed foot rim. An excellent example with the added unusual backstamp. | JUDITH ONIONS CORNISHWARE COFFEE POT Target Mark Backstamp. Height approx 16.5 cm (6.4) high including lid, and base diameter approx. 10.8 cm (4.25). NO CRAZING. Lid fit excellent. Light surface scratching. Tiny flea to the spout (and I mean tiny!), also slight roughness to the edges of the handle. Most due to thinness of the over glaze, a couple of possible tiny fleas. Four pinhead specks of white in the blue bands due to firing bubbles and one slip bump. Top blue band as slight rippling in the slip. 840g unpacked. REF NO: CWS2328. | JUDITH ONIONS CORNISHWARE TALL SALT AND PEPPER CRUET Black England Backstamp. Salt height approx. 4 9/16 (11.2 cm) with a base width of 2 3/8 (6 cm). A very few long line craze lines on the top. Salt hole perfect. Light surface scratching. NO CHIPS. Small rub of blue in the top white band with an associated indent in the banding. Small slip bump in the middle blue band and on the top. Original plastic stopper. Very marginal hint of variation in the blue colour that is extremely difficult to spot. Pepper height approx. 4.5 (11.5 cm) with a base diameter of 2.25 (5.8 cm). No craze lines and shaker holes perfect. One very small flea to the top edge, and a little roughness in a couple of places that has brown associated. Very light surface scratching with good slip and banding quality. These are the larger salt and pepper, not the smaller ones that came on the kidney cruet see picture for size comparison. This is the only pair of these I have had in the Judith Onions shape as opposed to the earlier designs. Unpacked weight: 390g. REF NO: CWS2091. JUDITH ONIONS CORNISHWARE LARGE FRIDGE BOX Target Mark Backstamp. Approx. 2 7/8 (7.2 cm) high including lid with a lid diameter of 4 15/16 (12.5 cm). NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR CRAZING. One noticeable scratch to the side. Virtually no dirt anywhere, just a few hints. Two tiny slip bumps on the top of the lid, one below. The only vices t has are a run in the top blue band where the edge of the run is a slightly darker blue, and a couple of wisps of white line in the edge of the lid, from manufacture. Three very small fleas to the top edge. One blue spot in the top white band. Hint of an overglaze run in the bottom blue band. Base clean. Inside a few craze lines in a small area. JUDITH ONIONS CORNISHWARE LARGE SLOPED SIDE FRUIT BOWL Target Backstamp and impressed #6/9. Approx height 3 1/2 (9 cm) with a top diameter of 8 (20 cm) and a base diameter of 2 Ό (7.7 cm). NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR CRAZING. Base has minimal dirt. Inside very clean with only extremely light utensil marks. Slight slip indent on inner edge from manufacture. Tiny light blue speck on rim edge from manufacture. On outside there is some running of the overglaze and a small rub where the blue is slightly thinner. Both these are from manufacture. | JUDITH ONIONS CORNISHWARE DREDNOUGHT JUG Full Target Mark Backstamp and impressed #26 AND #57. Approx. height 4 7/8 (12.4 cm) with a base diameter of 4 13/16 (12.2 cm). NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR CRAZING. Average surface scratching. Top rim and lip very clean. Good banding. Overglaze run on the handle. Darker thumbprint of blue in the lower blue band. Very bottom edge of the lower blue band is slightly uneven and there are thin sections where the overglaze hasnt reached. Over the jug as a whole there are a few tiny white specks in the blue but very few pinprick bubbles or slip bumps. Base very clean with some small indents in the unglazed foot rim typical of manufacture. Displays fine. 690g unpacked. REF NO: CWS1999. Price: 22.50 GBP including UK postage. JUDITH ONIONS CORNISHWARE SUGAR SHAKER Black Target Mark. Approx. height 12.8 cm (5 1/16). No longer has its rubber seal. Free of crazing. No cracks. Some very fine fleas to the overglaze around the holes of the shaker lid. Average surface scratching. Top edge has some fine black specks. Lettering good. Very bottom edge has a rub in the slip so it is marginally out of line. Displays well and people would never know it was missing the seal! 342g unpacked. REF NO: CWS1690. Price: 22.00 GBP.
