RARE 70's NAVY TRIAL COFFEE POT (MUCH EARLIER THAN THE M&S NAVY) Target Backstamp as with the other rare trial colours of this time such as Black and Orange, together with impressed numbers 17 and 46. Approx 6 ½” (16.5 cm) high (including lid) and a base diameter of approx 4 5/16” (11 cm). Light surface scratching with just one larger scratch on the top and middle blue bands. There is a small slip indent from manufacture on the handle and in the bottom white band near to the handle. Base very clean with two small craze lines. Lid clean and a good fit. There is a small firing fissure under the knop of the lid from manufacture. No chips on the spout, although there is some VERY light brown speckling from manufacture where the glaze is slightly thinner. Inside the base are some circular craze lines that have some very light browning in them. This should be easily removed with some baby bottle steriliser.
