EARLY FLOUR SHAKER - FIXED TOP Black Shield Mark. Approx. height 12.3 cm (4.9”). No stopper. No chips or cracks. Long line crazing in the bottom white band on the front and on the right hand side. Shaker holes perfect. In the bottom blue band is a slight slip rub where some white shows through. The overglaze has a slight run line close to the bottom and at the rear it is slightly rough. Hardly any surface scratching or firing bubbles. Lettering good. Displays well. 252g unpacked. REF NO: CWS2279. Price: 45.00GBP. | EARLY SUGAR SHAKER - FIXED TOP Black Shield Mark. Approx. height 12 cm (4.75”). Original stopper, but the Bakelite casing is no longer there. No chips, cracks, or crazing. Shaker holes perfect. Lettering excellent. Light surface scratching. Slight variation in the blue of the bottom blue band due to a little overglaze variation. To the unglazed foot rim is some slight browning. PEPPER SHAKER - SCREW TOP  Green Shield Mark. Approx 11.5 cm (4 1/2”) high. SERIF PRINT. Screw Top. Base free of crazing. One flake from the edge of the unglazed inner thread underneath the lid. Crazing to the lid – which is importantly the right lid for a pepper shaker (DON’T GET CAUGHT OUT BY A SWITCH). Lid holes intact. Thread on base good, there is a tiny under glaze indent and three firing fissures from manufacture. At the base of the bottom blue band near the front is a darker area of blue. Very light surface scratching. Base very clean. 282g unpacked. Fewer of these around than the flour and sugar shakers. REF NO: CWS2365. | PEPPER SHAKER - SCREW TOP - SANS SERIF Green Shield Mark. Approx 11.8 cm (4 5/8”) high. SANS SERIF PRINT. Screw Top. Base free of crazing, bar for one line at the bottom of one of the bands. Some flakes from the edge of the unglazed inner thread underneath the lid. Crazing to the lid – which is importantly the right lid for a pepper shaker (DON’T GET CAUGHT OUT BY A SWITCH). There is some light discolouration to the crazing which would probably come out with some Milton. Lid holes intact. Thread on base good, there is a tiny under glaze indent. Inside the base there is a firing line around the bottom edge. This is confined to the inside. One blue speck in the top white band on the LHS, and one white speck in the bottom blue band below the first “PE”. Very light surface scratching. Good blue colour. 342g unpacked. | SUGAR SHAKER - SCREW TOP - SANS SERIF Green Shield Mark. Approx 11.9 cm (4 5/8”) SANS SERIF PRINT. Screw Top. NO CRACKS OR CRAZING. Very few surface scratches. One exceptionally small flea bite to one of the shaker holes. Nice even blue colour. If you remove the lid there is a very light brown spot on the top edge – hypercritical. SUGAR SHAKER - SCREW TOP - SANS SERIF - CLEARANCE Green Shield Mark. Approx 12 cm (4.75”) SANS SERIF PRINT. Screw Top. Crazing to the base, screw thread and top. There is a single craze line in the top blue band. To the underside of the lid are approx. 6 glaze flakes/chips. To the shaker holes there are four very small fleas. Blue colour very clean and even. | SUGAR SHAKER - SCREW TOP - SERIF Green Shield Mark. Approx 11.5 cm (4 1/2”) SERIF PRINT. Screw Top. NO CRACKS OR CRAZING. Very few surface scratches. Shaker holes intact. Good blue colour, with a little bump in the slip near the bottom of the lower blue band. Lid has a few black specks within the glaze and some light brown specking in the unglazed/thinner glazed edge. If you remove the lid there is an under glaze chip on the shoulder from manufacture. No extra ink specks to the front, a couple on the top rim that are very light. Screw thread completely intact. SALT SHAKER - SCREW TOP Green Shield Mark. Approx 11.9 cm (4 3/4”) high. SANS SERIF PRINT. Screw Top. Base has no crazing. Lid has long line crazing, a few of the craze lines being fractionally browned. These would probably clean easily with Milton. Lid holes intact. Screw top thread intact. There is a small firing line in the underside of the lid in the thread. There is also an under glaze chip/cut into top edge where the thread starts – from manufacture. Very light surface scratching. | SALT SHAKER - SCREW TOP - SERIF Green Shield Mark. Approx 11.9 cm (4 3/4”) high. SANS SERIF PRINT. Screw Top. Base has no crazing bar for some small lines on the top by the thread. Lid free of crazing and holes intact. Screw top thread intact – there is a slight indent on the lid section that appears to be there from manufacture as it’s smooth. Also there are the most minuscule black specks in the white of the lid. To the underside of the lid there is a small bump of extra slip in the unglazed rim. Very light surface scratching. To the LHS is a small spot within the white of the bottom band that is approx 1cm wide. This is shown in the pictures. Good blue. 282g unpacked. FLOUR SHAKER - SCREW TOP Green Shield Mark. Approx 12.1 cm (4 5/8”) high. SANS SERIF PRINT. Screw Top. Base has light, long line crazing to the base and a few lines by the thread. Lid free of crazing. Lid holes intact with a couple of dark firing blows either side of one of the holes. Screw top thread intact. There is a tiny shallow flake in the unglazed edge of the lid – could be post manufacture. To the base thread there is a tiny firing line running along it’s bottom edge. Very light surface scratching. Good blue colour, with a hint of white in the bottom blue band at the top edge on the left hand side. 426g unpacked. | 1970's/80's PEPPER SHAKER - SANS SERIF - CLEARANCE ITEM 4 5/8” (11.7 cm). Green “Made in England” backstamp inside. No cracks or crazing, bar two craze lines on the top. Very few surface scratches. Good clear lettering. Holes in top have some small frits to the edges. One Darker spot in the top blue above the first E. Some very light specks to the top. Base has an overglazed chip on it, and an indent in the edge that appears to be from manufacture. To the top edge of the blue there is an under glaze indent that shows as a little bit of white in the blue. Displays well, and not many of these around. Unpacked weight 202g. REF NO: CWS2101. JUDITH ONIONS SUGAR SHAKER - CLEARANCE ITEM Black Target Mark. Approx. height 12.8 cm (5 1/16”). No longer has its rubber seal. Free of crazing. No cracks. Some very fine fleas to the overglaze around the holes of the shaker lid. Average surface scratching. Top edge has some fine black specks. Lettering good.
