GLOBE TEAPOT - CLEARANCE - GREEN SHIELD BACKSTAMP  Green Shield Backstamp. Approx 25cm from spout to handle end and 13.8cm high. Chip to underside of the top part of the spout. Small flake to edge of handle. Small firing fissure in the top blue band, and small slip indent - as if someone put their thumb on it when it was wet. Very clean with light surface scratching and only a hint of the lightest brown specks in very few places. Displays very well and would be a very easy restoration. Unpacked weight 870g. COFFEE POT WITH LONG SPOUT - GREEN SHIELD BACKSTAMP Green Shield Backstamp. Height approx 19.7 cm (7.8”) high including lid, and base diameter approx. 10.3 cm (4 1/8”). A very few craze lines under the knop of the lid, other wise free from crazing. Spout intact, some darker specks on the inner edge. On the edge of the handle are three very small rough spots approx 1-1.5mm. It looks like they are where the overglaze has not taken fully right on the edge as there is no evidence of flaking around the rough area, and you usually see some if they are a frit. They are very small, and this is priced to take them into account. Very light surface scratching. Lid fit good. To the edge of the outer blue band is a small flaw in the blue and it appears to be slightly indented white rather than a clean edge. Base exceptionally clean. Inside there is a slight pattern like a mocha ware dendritic tree. This is much less common than the shorter spouted version and this version has sold on eBay for a lot more excluding postage. 845g unpacked. REF NO: CWS2328. Price: 100.00 GBP including UK postage. | COFFEE POT - GREEN SHIELD BACKSTAMP Green Shield Backstamp. Height approx 18.1 cm (7.2”) high including lid, and base diameter approx. 8 cm (3.2”). NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR CRAZING. Lid fit excellent. Light surface scratching. Very slight overglaze run on the handle. Some coffee stains inside the spout that should easily come out with some Milton – we didn’t clean this item so you could choose whether you wanted to or not. COFFEE POT - JUDITH ONIONS BACKSTAMP Target Mark Backstamp. Height approx 16.5 cm (6.4”) high including lid, and base diameter approx. 10.8 cm (4.25”). NO CRAZING. Lid fit excellent. Light surface scratching. Tiny flea to the spout (and I mean tiny!), also slight roughness to the edges of the handle. Most due to thinness of the over glaze, a couple of possible tiny fleas. Four pinhead specks of white in the blue bands due to firing bubbles and one slip bump. Top blue band as slight rippling in the slip. 840g unpacked. REF NO: CWS2328. | CAFETIERE - FRIENDS OF CORNISH BLUE EDITION Mason Cash Backstamp. As new condition, still with plastic around the plunger. This item was produced as a limited availability for subscribers to the friends of Cornish Blue news letter. A very few extremely light surface scratches and a hint of unevenness to the edge of the blue. Nothing serious and within the bounds of normal production. Mentioned for total accuracy. 955g unpacked. RARE 1970's NAVY TRIAL COFFEE POT Target Backstamp as with the other rare trial colours of this time such as Black and Orange, together with impressed numbers 17 and 46. Approx 6 ½” (16.5 cm) high (including lid) and a base diameter of approx 4 5/16” (11 cm). Light surface scratching with just one larger scratch on the top and middle blue bands. There is a small slip indent from manufacture on the handle and in the bottom white band near to the handle. Base very clean with two small craze lines. Lid clean and a good fit. There is a small firing fissure under the knop of the lid from manufacture. No chips on the spout, although there is some VERY light brown speckling from manufacture where the glaze is slightly thinner. Inside the base are some circular craze lines that have some very light browning in them. This should be easily removed with some baby bottle steriliser. | RARER GREEN SHIELD GOLD COFFEE POT cMid 60's Green Shield Backstamp. Approx height 3 ¼” (7.9cm). No crazing (bar two tiny lines inside spout) or cracks, just the tinniest flea on the inner edge of lid. Generally light surface scratching, only one scratch on the side that is slightly more noticeable. In the top gold band is a tiny firing bubble/fault that shows as a bit of whiter area. One the opposite side is the smallest hint of a white line. In the cream band below the handle is a hint of darker colour. On the inner side of the spout there is a small slip bump. JUDITH ONIONS GOLD COFFEE POT Black Target Mark. Base diameter approx 11.2 cm (4 7/16”) x approx 17 cm (6.7”) high including lid. No cracks or crazing. Small flea on handle. Inside lid a small chip to the edge by the cut out, obviously not visible with the lid on. Virtually no surface scratches. Very slight slip rub and indent from manufacture. Middle cream band has a small line of gold slip in it and there is a small firing fissure in the bottom cream band. Displays well. Very clean. Unpacked weight: 905g. REF NO: CWS2746.
