US STICK BUTTER DISH - Green Shield Mark. Base: 7.9” (20 cm) x 3 5/8” (9.2 cm). No chips or cracks. Very minimal crazing in one area only. Two very light specks of discolouration. Very few utensil marks. Lid: No chips, cracks or crazing. Some surface scratching to the top. There is also some fat staining where it has worked up through the unglazed bottom rim. This causes variation in the blue of the bottom band, and in a few parts to the white band. This is a rare piece and is priced to take the fat marks into account. Unpacked weight: 314g.
