JUDITH ONIONS COVERED SOUP BOWL - Judith Onions Target Backstamp. Approx. 3 3/8” (8.5 cm) high including lid with 5 1/8” (12.9 cm) diameter from tab handle to tab handle. NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR CRAZING. Light surface scratching. Light brown specking to the inner edge of the top rim. On the edges of the tab handles the glaze slip is not complete and there is roughness on the edges. The blue of the lower band has some darker blue specks in it, especially on the edge of the widest point. Base quite clean with just light dirt in the unglazed foot rim. The dark mark on the picture of the base is not there on the piece. Lid fit excellent and the slip quality is good. Small indent on the edge of the knop from manufacture. To the underside there is browning in the unglazed lid rest rim and a small amount of light specking on the underside of the edge. Not an easy to find piece. Unpacked weight 412g. REF NO: CWS2158.
