COCOA 4 7/8" Storage Jar – SERIF. Black Shield Mark with partially impressed #18. 4 7/8” ( 12.5 cm). No chips, cracks or crazing. No ink specks associated with the letters. Clear banding. Pin head firing bubble on the shoulder in the blue above the first co, and a pinprick one below the first O in the middle blue band. Pinprick in the left hand side middle blue band. Slight slip indent on the left hand side of the top white band, and a small partial fissure, beneath the over glaze, in the bottom white band, just outside the C. To the rear are 7 further pin pricks in the glaze. Very light and tiny brown specks in the top rim, and some very tiny black speckles that are within the glaze itself. Base clean with just light dirt in the unglazed foot rim. Lid fit very good. Very slight unevenness in the edge of the outer blue band. To the underside of the lid is very light browning in the unglazed lid rest rim. 535g unpacked. REF NO: CWS1978.
