SPICE Storage Jar – SERIF. Black Shield Mark and impressed #24. NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR CRAZING. Very clear lettering with just a spot of ink to the left of the “S”. Surface scratching to the widest point. Top edge very clean and smooth with just a couple of hints of specks. Superb banding and slip glaze quality. Base very clean and clear backstamp. Inside the jar there is a bump of slip. Lid fit is slightly loose but looks right for the jar as the blue colour is a perfect match and the knop shape is as would be expected. Top of lid excellent, some light browning to the unglazed lid rest circle on the underside. 386g unpacked. REF NO: CWS860. Price: 155.00GBP. This is a very hard jar to find in a larger size.
