STEREAMLINE CASTOR SUGAR 6.2" STORAGE JAR - Streamline Backstamp – feint but there! Also impressed 2PT. Approx. 6.2” (15.2 cm) high including lid with a base diameter of 3 5/8” (9.1 cm). NO CHIPS OR CRACKS TO THE JAR. Hairline from the edge of the lid and into the top – on the underside there is some discolouration associated with it. Egg shell crazing to the whole of the jar and the lid. All green raised bands undamaged and clear with no running or bleeding, although there are a few firing bubbles associated with them. Within the cream of the body there are just three small circles of greying that are hardly noticeable. Base very clean with slight indents in the foot rim , and just on the edge of the base that appear to be from manufacture. Top rim of jar and bottom rim of lid good. Lettering good with just a tiny ink speck above the last R and marginal bleeding. Excellent quality overglaze and few surface scratches. Crazing on the top of the lid is slightly discoloured and there are a couple of discolouration spots inside the base. This jar displays very well. 770g unpacked. REF NO: CWS2715.
